Initial Consultation

The initial consultation can be done over the phone or in person to discuss your requirements  and determine how to align the photography with your brand.

Things to consider:

Head and Shoulders only or full lenghts portrait

Individuals or group photos or both

Background colour

Colour images or black & white (other processing also possible)

Formal or casual

The Shoot 

A typical head & shoulders portrait takes about 5min -10min per individual

Group shots take about 10-15 min per group

Viewing the images

The images of the shoot will be uploaded to a private online gallery within 24 hours.

Once we receive your selection we will retouch the images to remove any skin blemishes, soften lines etc. The retouching is subtle but can make all the difference.

Delivery of Images

Images will be delivered as digital files within 24 hours after receiving your selection. Depending on the number of images they can be delivered by email or on DVD

Preparation and tips for the shoot

Think about the end product, where and how will the images be used e.g. printed material or web.

Find out if your company has guidelines for staff photos.

If we are matching existing photos please provide samples

Think about what type of background you like. White backgrounds look clean and will allow graphic designers to add text or other elements to the image.

For photos at your location a large office or boardroom are usually suitable. De-clutter as much as possible.

Give your staff as much notice as possible to ensure everyone is available. 

Let your staff know in advance what the dress code is. Generally darker colours work better. 

Professional hair and makeup is nice but not required. We are able to provide you with names of mobile hair and makeup artists.

If men are going to have a haircut we suggest do to it 3-4 days before the shoot.
