Currently working on time lapse project on behalf of 'The EC workshop' architects. While a construction site can be very chaotic it always pays to look around for interesting subjects.
This will be the new BMW/Mini service centre in Artarmon.

Corporate photos for real estate agents.
Professor Khandra has more letters after his name than my whole name. So it was a privilege to photograph him this morning in our studio.
This image is not what we intended to create but it is one of those classic portraits that reflects the character of a person.
I had the pleasure to photograph Vanja from Stace & Co at this Surry Hills studio.
Vanja knew exactly the look she was after. Her main brief was not to make her look like a lawyer or real estate agent but instead she wanted the image to reflect her strong confident and colourful spirit.
Stace + Co. We are a Sydney design and marketing studio helping businesses and brands get the most out of their marketing efforts.
Vanja hired a studio space in Surry Hills which has a bright and colourful look. This was then matched by Vanja's outfits.
Of course it's her smile and personality which will ultimately win over her customers.
I was approached by Rimini Street to shoot a concept for an upcoming magazine cover. The magazine, insideSAP was going to feature my client on the cover and they had to come up with an idea fast.
The client had a rough concept in mind that would highlight Rimini Street as the new alternative for SAP support as opposed to the traditional (and more expensive) support provided by SAP.
The client was able to provide me with this image as a starting point for the concept.
From there we discussed several options that would have the impact required and get the message across.
Next we got the retoucher on board to discuss the details of the concept and what could be done in Photoshop and how to shoot the image to ensure that the scale and lighting etc all matched up perfectly in the final image.
Since this is a magazine cover we also had to be aware of the requirements by the publisher to be able to add text and graphics on the cover.
A couple of other images had to be sources from stock libraries i.e. a cityscape and a street sign. We managed to find a great image of Sydney at night.
Next we produced a mock-up for the magazine editor and the client to approve the overall design, layout and size of the final image. Once the mock-up was approved we photographed the talent or in this case my client Andrew Powell from Rimini Street in our studio.
The images where then retouched and composited with the street sign and the cityscape.
Once the image was delivered it was up to the publishers to work it into a magazine cover. Below is the final cover as it was printed.
The image was used again inside the magazine as part of an article.
and since the magazine is available as an iPad version you also need an image for iTunes.
When I recently opened up the North Shore Times newspaper I was pleasantly surprised to see that on a double page featuring local real estate agents, 4 out of the 5 agents used über photography for their corporate photos.
We have been trusted by North Shore real estate agents to take their headshots for over 10 years now. During that period we have established some long term relationships with the companies and individual agents. This in turn mean that we are able to understand our clients requirements and deliver consistent results.
This in turn ensures that our Real Estate clients can present a consistently branded look and feel to all their print media, business cards and 'our team' webpages.
We often work with our clients from the beginning in order to develop a particular look unique to that client. A great example is Chadwick Real Estate, we came up with a concept together and followed through ever since to create a strong look.

Today I had the pleasure of photographing Georgie & Rochelle from Ray White Chatswood.
The images will go on the Ray White Chatswood team website.
Classic black and white images never get old.
Renee is a budding actress and singer. With an audition coming up we quickly set up an appointment for the shoot.
Renee brought a few different outfits. She chose some of her own favorites but also made sure she had something that was relevant to the audition.
We have several packages for actors and performers. Contact us for more details.
Here is a short time lapse clip. We were setting up a remote camera for a 3 months time lapse project. The location is North Shore BMW and the client commissioning the time lapse is The EC Workshop, architects responsible for the BMW service centre fit out.
The camera is located in a weather proof casing and can be controlled remotely to take photos at a set interval. The frequency of the photos can be controlled from an online web application from any web enabled device.
The images are uploaded to a server as soon as they are taken. This allows up to monitor the camera set up to ensure the system is working correctly and it allows the client to monitor the progress during the building phase.
Below is one of the images uploaded from the camera today.
Caryn, director at Pure Magic International Training Solutions already had a professional photo which was fine but it was somewhat out of date.
Part of presenting a professional image is having current photos of the staff that reflect the times and also the appearance of the individuals.
Due to the variety of Caryn's work and her international speaking commitments we created a few different looks.
